The Santa Lucia Preserve
The Santa Lucia Preserve is only a few miles from Highway One off Carmel Valley Road. Simply drive up the meandering Oak studded road and enter the Perserve through the Carmel stone gate house.

Of the Preserve's 20,000 acres only 2,000 acres are developed. On the 2,000 acres only 300 homes will be allowed. Only homeowners, their families and guests, and staff are premitted to be on the property.
